This page provides a brief overview of our program and our general philosophy toward education.

Global Learning and Obsrvation to benefit the Environment (GLOBE) is a hands on international environmental science and education program. GLOBE links students, teachers, and the scientific research community in an effort to learn more about our environment through student data collection and observation.

The goals of GLOBE are:

  • to enhane the environmental awareness of individuals throughout the world;
  • to contribute to scientific understanding of Earth; and
  • to help all students reach higher levels of achievement in science and mathematics.

GLOBE provides extensive educational materials to enrich the learning experience of participating students. These materials include a wide variety of classroom and field activities to help students place their measurements in a broader context and relate their own local observations to global environmental issues.

Global Learning and Observation to Benefit the Environment (GLOBE)

We have an experienced and dedicated group of teachers . Each teacher strives to create a supportive and challenging classroom atmosphere to encourage students to participate.

"Education is a tool that's used to tailor success."
